corporation, was formed in January of 1996 to promote the sport of wrestling in Delaware
at all levels. Formerly named the Delaware Wrestling Booster’s Association, the DWA is
comprised of members from all facets of the Delaware wrestling community. Included in
it’s membership are representatives from: The Delaware Wrestling Officials
Association, The Delaware Wrestling Coaches Association, high school booster clubs, youth
groups, Delaware Wrestling USA, and fans of all ages. Activities sponsored by the DWA
include: The Delaware "Beast of the East", The Delaware Fall Classic, the Delaware Wrestling Club, Team
Delaware (freestyle), Delaware Kid's States, Delaware/South Jersey Classic, Delaware
All-Academic Team, Academic Wrestlers Scholarship Fund, Delaware Wrestling Hall of Fame,
Delaware State Wrestling Banquet, and clinics. DWA

These are exciting but difficult times for the sport of wrestling and unity and
organization are two vital aspects of survival. All wrestling enthusiasts and affiliates
who love the sport as much as we do must realize what it takes to prevent our sport from
